PDF Redactor
A small local tool built around one sensitive task.
PDF Redactor reviews text-based PDF files for account and routing number patterns, applies PDF redaction annotations, and returns a new file. The current prototype runs through a local browser interface on macOS.
Private files. Manual cleanup.
Financial records may need sensitive identifiers removed before they can be shared.
Keep the file local.
The application icon remains unchanged. This same icon is reserved as the visual link to the separate project page.
Add files. Run one action.
The live interface keeps the first step direct: choose one or more PDFs, then start redaction.
Source to redacted output.
A synthetic statement was loaded into the packaged app and processed through its actual interface.

Review the result record.
The completed state reports the number and type of matches without showing the source values.
A delivered prototype with release work open.
The app demonstrates the local workflow. Accuracy, scanned-page handling, packaging, and public distribution remain separate release work.
Case study first.
This page documents the working prototype. A public app download remains unavailable until the product passes its release checks.
